BRIEF HISTORY AND MANAGEMENT PHILOSOPHY

Northern Virginia Management, Inc. is a full-service homeowners and Homeowners association management company. Currently, Northern Virginia Management, Inc. has four full time and two part-time employees. Northern Virginia Management, Inc.’s management philosophy is based on one simple principle: good management increases community and property values by maintaining an Association’s physical and financial assets. Good management depends upon understanding the goals and objectives of the Association.

SENIOR STAFF

Northern Virginia Management’s principal staff has over thirty years collective experience successfully managing multi-family residential community properties in northern Virginia. We will work as a team to service your community in all phases of property management, administrative, operational, financial, and physical maintenance.

CEO and Manager Tim Kirchner has over 26 years of experience in all phases of accounting, administration, operations and construction.

1980 – 1989 he worked for a large development firm in Northern Virginia where he obtained an extensive knowledge of the construction industry. Mr. Kirchner has a strong foundation in base building construction and mechanical and electrical systems installation and operation.

1989 – 1996, he successfully started and managed a large Real Estate Management Company. While with the Real Estate Management Company, Mr. Kirchner was instrumental in obtaining a large government contract to manage government owned properties.

1996 – present he owns and operates Northern Virginia Management Mr. Kirchner was elected president of a local real Estate Board of Property Management and was a founding member of the National Association of Property Managers. Mr. Kirchner currently is on the Board of Directors for NARPM (National Association of Residential Property Managers, a national group of professionals who subscribe to its Code of Ethics and Standards of Professionalism in property management) as well as a member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI).
